Dr. Hans van Dijk is Assistant Professor at Tilburg University. His research focuses on team processes and outcomes. Hans seeks to unravel how differences between group members shape group dynamics and performance, the (dys)function of status hierarchies, and the role of stereotyping in work groups. His teaching mainly involves social skills training (e.g., dealing with conflicts, understanding communication behavior, leadership skills), which he has taught to Bachelor, Master & MBA students. Besides that Hans started and chaired several organizations (employing up to 90 volunteers).
